I am so blessed and thankful that I found Dr. Kaplansky, my whole life I have dealt with ingrown toe nails that have limited me from so many things in life. With Onyfix I feel as if I have gotten control of my life again. I can finally do a push up with grimacing in pain. In a few more months, I'm hoping to try rock climbing. Best foot doctor in Los Angeles. Went in skeptical of trying Onyfix to fix my ingrown nail. Doctor explained everything and reassured me. It was done in minutes and I had instant pain relief. Pain went from a 7 to a 1. Nail still looks red but trust me the pain is gone.

Dr. Kaplansky was an amazing doctor. My toe had been bothering me for about a month after I had stubbed it really hard. I suspected it was an ingrown toenail that formed after stunning my big toe. For years I always just patiently let my ingrown toenails grow out and I eventually cut them when grew out but this one was especially stubborn. After a while it began hurting so much I had to make a call. I found dr. Kaplansky online and found that he offered the lowest price for removal (I am uninsured).

When I arrived at his office, Olga (his very nice assistant) greeted me and signed me in. Dr. Kaplansky then brought me in his examination room. I was so nervous because of the potential pain, but the doctor was so kind and conversational it helped calm my nerves a lot. The procedure itself was almost painless because of the local anesthesia and it was over in an instant. Overall it was a great experience, and any time I have foot problems I will definitely being paying Dr. Kaplansky another visit.

I came in to get my foot looked at because I was having lots of pain. Dr. Kaplansky was very friendly and took me in as soon as I went in and filled out the paperwork. The X-Ray was free and the removal of a big sharp piece of glass was free. I can now walk again with no pain. Also Olga was a very nice and helpful manager.

Excellent service by a professional, competent foot doctor. I had an acute foot problem, either a bursitis or a neuroma after 3 hours of strenuous tennis (google helped this far). I called a few places my insurance covered, no same day appointments. I'm in pain. I googled podiatrist - called Dr. Kaplasnsky's office. I explained it was an emergency and I needed an xray to rule out a broken bone. His office understood the situation, made the appointment 30 minutes later. I asked how much. Only $100 for an exam, an xray and a diagnosis with prognosis. Now, I'm suspicious, as a friend recently went to a foot Dr. in Santa Monica - cost him $350. So, I drive to the location- a little small and in the top corner of a 2 story strip mall. I'm paying for a doctor's expertise and knowledge not his expensive office rent. So, I entered, was pleasantly greeted by assistant, completed some basic medical questions, then back to the dr. right away. Nice guy, conversational, competent, professional. Thorough exam, some xrays, no broken bones, diagnosis and treatment options. I chose the option he had performed 1000s of times. One little shot between my aching toes and instantly better. 3 days since shot, I'm back to tennis. Thx Dr. K!

I could put 10 stars. I called Friday. My appointment was scheduled onMonday. my appointment was at 9 o'clock. I got to see a doctor right away, great front desk and the Doctor Who is dedicated to his patient!

I've seen TERRIBLE doctors from all specialties, but Dr. Kaplansky is by far one of the best, most caring doctors I've ever come across. Very reasonable, very patient, explains everything for you, and never tries to charge you for useless or unnecessary things. Recommends getting Orthotics on Amazon instead of custom made ones or overpriced ones like all the other podiatrists peddle incessantly. SIX STARS!

I just turned 70 and for the first time in my life, I went to visit a foot doctor and I am so glad I did. About 3 years ago, while shopping at Home Depot, I accidentally dropped an eight foot 2 X 4 lumber on my left toe. Although it was painful and the nail turned brown, I didn't do much about it.

While visiting my general doctor, I showed him the toe. He said nothing to worry about, and it would heal by itself. 3 years later, the toenail was still brown and the nail was not growing right. So, I decided to see a specialist and had Dr. Arkady check my foot. As a board certified podiatrist, he was very knowledgeable and professional. Right away, he knew was wrong and I could not believe all the steps and procedures he took to treat the damaged toenail. My toenail has never looked or felt better. I am so glad I went to Dr. Arkady. He is amazing and I highly recommend him even for a once in a lifetime foot check up.

I never thought I would need a "foot guy" but now I have one ! Everything about my visit was as smooth as possible . I was nervous about going in with a bad ingrown toenail but he made me feel so comfortable and was making jokes and had me laughing the whole time. Before I knew it the procedure was over and I didn't feel a thing! I highly recommend!

I went yesterday for an ingrown nail and I thought it would be as uncomfortable as the emergency room when I got it done 5 months ago. But that was not the experience I had here. He was so good I didn't even feel the pinch of the syringe. And the prosecute was done in like 20 minutes. Talk about me school and my future profession and like thanos in a snap of a finger he was done.

My boyfriend had a really bad ingrown toenail for about a month, the last two weeks was really bad, he was limping around from the pain. We called a lot of places to see if we could come in but they were either closed or WAY too expensive. We called in this morning they had an appointment at 11:30. We got there and the nurse in the front desk was very friendly, we filled out some paperwork and 5 minutes later we were in. He sat in the big chair and the doctor came in right away, he numbed his toe while he joked around with us making us feel comfortable. He was very nice and professional. Answered all of our questions and even gave us information as he was working, he was very quick and very efficient. We weren't in the office for more than 30 minutes. Usually doctors offices are a pain because of how long they take but not here! The pharmacy took longer to give us the prescription.

Just went to this office for a small issue I was having and the doctor was so nice and funny! Took his time and made sure i got all my questions answered ! The front desk lady was sweet too! I believe there were two of them and they were laughing and speaking Russian. I had a good experience! He didn't try to over sell anything. Just kept it simple!

I had a wart on my foot for almost a year and went to Dr.Kaplansky to remove it. He was professional (and very friendly), knowledgeable and very communicative about all aspects of the treatment. The procedure was surgical in nature and the Doctor did a wonderful job and had a terrific manner! I can't say enough good things about my experience. The treatment was done on a Thursday and he told me not to hesitate to call him if I had any questions or concerns - even if it was during the weekend. I will say that his second floor office is not the most modern, but that in no way detracts from Dr. Kapalnsky being truly first rate. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Was able to get an appointment within the week that I called. There was no wait. The doctor was professional, thorough, and had a great bedside manner. I was in and out within 30 minutes, and that's including x-rays. He's very knowledgeable, friendly, and will not rush you out. He will also ascertain that you try the more conservative course of action first - unlike other docs who tend to recommend surgeries right off of the bat. Totally understand why he has the only good yelp reviews for podiatrists in my area!

I was really impressed with Dr. Kaplanskys bedside manner. He was a really pleasant person to talk to and made me very comfortable. He answered any questions I had and did an amazing job with problems I had been dealing with for a long time and he gave me a lot of tips to make sure I didn't have any problems in the future.

The wait time was really short too and it was easy to schedule an appointment. The lady at the front was real nice too and helpful.

I can tell Dr. Kaplansky really cares about his patients and also mentioned to me that he was heading to a house call for a person who isn't physically capable of coming to the office anymore. Now that's going the extra mile and even tho I'm not old and unable to move but I really appreciate him doing that and I'm sure they are too.

I have seen 4 podiatrists over the past 7 years for Morton's Neuroma. With all of the cortisone, alcohol shots, and nerve decompression surgery over the past 7 years, I was in worse pain.

I decided to get a 5th opinion and saw Dr. Kaplansky yesterday. He is the only podiatrist that examined my whole foot and found that the pain was coming from an entirely different area of my foot that the other doctors had thought. He gave me a cortisone shot in that area and today, my foot feels great today. I am hopeful that this will last, but he advised me to come back in 2 weeks if I am not. And, he promised to keep looking for other options for me, if necessary.

He is very down to earth, a great listener, and very knowledgeable. I got the sense that he really cares about his patients. I strongly recommend Dr. Kaplansky for your foot needs.

I've never been to a foot doctor before and only once have I had my appointment by any medical professional actually happen when booked. This changed with my visit. I'd let an ingrown nail get out of hand and become infected and quite painful. Dr. Kaplansky made the process easy and quite painless while assuring me he'd done this many times in the past. I can say after a week or so my toe wishes I'd done this sooner!

Like any doctor's visit in Los Angeles, I went here budgeting (at minimum) and hour and a half out of work anticipating that I'd be bogged down in paperwork, lines - etc. Well that certainly wasn't true. In and out, 100% cured in under 20 minutes. Almost couldn't believe it. While my reason for going happened to be minor, it was the attention to detail, professionalism, and overall good attitude of the staff and doc himself that will bring me back should my foot have another unfortunate brush with fate.

Its kind of tucked into a corner of a two story mini-mall on Sunset, so you can easily miss it or write it off if you compare it to some of the larger fancy clinics I've seen advertised elsewhere - but you'd be doing yourself a big disservice if thats your only criteria for finding some great help when you need it most. Would definitely rec.

I appreciate the detailed care that I was given and the manner in which they communicated with me. He seems to genuinely love his job and care about his patients. Informative and being honest about what to expect for recovery, he did ease the pain and have no problem coming back. No pain afterwards. Highly recommend him if you need to go to a foot doctor.
